About Us

​The Pick Inn is an event venue located in Gallatin, TN just 40 minutes north of Nashville. Located just across the street from Bledsoe Creek State Park, our beautiful location is an ideal spot for your wedding or event, whether you're envisioning a rustic theme, or an elegant theme. With 3 areas to choose from including a covered + heated pavilion, The Pick Inn is an ideal space for wedding ceremonies, receptions, corporate events, parties, and reunions. Our venue's setting and landscape is perfect for a celebration in any season. For weddings, couples will feel right at home in our rustic log cabin on site with ample space for your entire wedding party to get ready for the big day. ​History of The Pick Inn

Based in Gallatin, The Pick Inn is a family owned business providing wedding and event venue services for receptions, corporate events, banquet halls, and corporate/private events to the surrounding Nashville communities. The venue was purchased from the McReynolds family, specifically Joy & Jesse McReynolds of the Bluegrass duo “Jim & Jesse”. Many people ask why it is named “The Pick Inn”, and the reason behind that is that a fiddle player is traditionally called a “picker” in the world of bluegrass music. The Pick Inn is named in honor of Jesse. The new owners, the Mercer family, find joy in keeping traditions of The Pick Inn alive as a historic Gallatin wedding venue and corporate event center.

About the Owners

Welcome to our website! The owners of The Pick Inn are a Father-Daughter duo. Don Mercer and Amanda (Mercer) Jackson fell in love with The Pick Inn when Amanda was married there in 2014. In fact, we loved it so much, we bought it! We took over and renovated the property in 2015. With over 150 weddings under our belts, we consider ourselves seasoned professionals who are ready to make your event a success! 

Our goal is to make your event as stress-free and fun as possible. We strive to keep our guests happy and relaxed! Whether you need help from Amanda coordinating a wedding, or you would like Don to help organize a corporate meeting or retreat, we're here to make sure your needs are met and your guests are happy.

The Pick Inn was the second venue we toured, and we knew, almost instantly, that we wanted to get married there. The next day, we cancelled all pending tours. The venue is absolutely beautiful - from the expansive grounds to the dressing areas and reception area. The available packages let you customize your experience based on your needs, wants, and budget.
